WHAT ARE OMBRÉ POWDER BROWS?
Ombre Powder brows are semi-permanent tattoo powder technique which implants pigments into the epidermis/dermis layer. Ombre powder results are light in the front (bulb) and darker towards the end of the tail which resembles a make up look.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading, also known as embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes, is a form of semi-Permanent Makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Microblading is performed by placing pigment in the dermis with the use of a hand tool with attached needles fused together in a curvilinear grouping.
This technique is a process that may be used to improve or create eyebrow definition, to cover gaps of lost hair, to extend the eyebrows, or may be used as a full reconstruction if the brows have little/no hair.
WHAT IS THE PAIN LEVEL?
Numbing will be provided to help minimize pain although there may be some discomfort.
WILL MY TATTOO TURN RED, BLUE OR GREY?
At SoCal Brows, due to the commitment of services we provide, we only use the highest quality pigments for our clients. Color will fade to its true color.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE?
Depending on the type of services that are performed, each treatment usually takes up to three to three and a half hours to complete. Detail and precision is very important to us. We make sure you are satisfied with the procedure you chose.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Ombre powder brows can last up to three years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and atftercare. It is recommended to get an annual touch up for fresh brows.
Microblading lasts up to 1 year depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. It is recommended to get an annual touch-up to maintain shape and a fresh brow color.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP OVER IT?
Yes, individuals can wear make-up after the procedure performed is completely healed.
WHEN SHOULD YOU COME BACK FOR A TOUCH-UP?
All services require 2 sessions to complete desired look and color, which takes place 4-8 weeks apart from eachother.
It is recommended to get an annual touch-up to maintain/freshen up your PMU.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TATTOO AND SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Tattoos go deeper into the skin without fading while semi-permanent makeup fades between 1-3 years.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
You will expect to scab from the treatment. It is normal to scab the first 7-14 days after the procedure. Any redness will subside within 24 hours of service. The brows will be darker after initial treatment. It will lighten up by 30-50% and be smaller in size. A touch up after 4-8 weeks is recommended for any correction or complete desired look.
